HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!!!

ETHAN'S 4 MONTH WELL BABY CHECK UP

Ethan is already 4 months old!!!

Today is the official 4 month mark for our little monkey. He is such a joyful and happy baby boy. It is so funny how he is developing his own little personality, complete with laughs, smiles, growls, and an assortment of other noises. He goes through a phase each night before he goes to sleep where he likes to hear himself make sounds. They range from trying to say some new sound to high pitch squeals. He often looks around to make sure it was him that made that new sound. He thinks he is supposed to be up and standing all of the time. He will stand up as long as you will hold him up. He tries to take "steps" with his legs and will fuss when you make him sit down before he is ready. He loves red and is fascinated by Spider man & Mickey Mouse Play House Cartoons....and Handy Manny too! He lights up when he sees his Dad and can not get enough of his attention. We are trying new foods at the moment. The Rice Cereal did not go over well at all...all four times we have tried. He just does not like it at all. We tried baby applesauce & sweet potatoes and he loved them both. We are going to try peas next and I am wondering if he will like them too. He loves chocolate (bad I know), chicken soup, peppermint, and pretty much any grown up food that he can get into his mouth. We still are not doing too well with tummy time. He gets aggravated and starts to fuss after about 30 seconds. But we are keeping it up in hopes to see our little man scooting across the floor.
